WHO SHOULD TAKE THE TRAINING CPAs responsible for the preparation of Employee Benefit Plan Audits. TRAINING DESCRIPTION The OnPoint EBP Essentials Course is a four-hour virtual training designed to assist learners in using the software for an effective and efficient audit workflow in alignment with the OnPoint EBP methodology guide. The course will also provide self-study examples for hands-on practice in the software to reinforce the learning objectives. LEARNING OBJECTIVE In this course, you will learn the fundamentals of the OnPoint EBP guided engagement methodology and technology that can be used to complete an Employee Benefit Plan audit. At the end of the OnPoint EBP course, the learner will: - Know how to create OnPoint EBP engagements - Navigate the OnPoint EBP interface - Complete and import the trial balance template - Create and edit letters, financial statements, and notes - Send and receive queries to support stronger client communications - Understand the guided methodology to drive quality and efficiency Apply methodology concepts through the case study exercises that we provided after the course. Use the plan profile to better understand the plan, identify potential areas of risk in the audit, and dynamically build financial statements and notes. CANCELLATION POLICY
Due to financial obligations incurred by CPA.com, a credit less 50% of the registration fee will be issued for written requests received up to and including 7 days prior to the start of the course. No refunds or credits will be issued on cancellation requests received less than 3 days prior to the start of the course.
Day of cancellations are non-refundable. We will move your registration to another 2021 EBP Essentials training course date. The course must be completed by the end of 2021.
